I'm so giddy! I received my first purchase the same day I posted the item in my Etsy Shop! Huzzah!

Pretty soon, I'll be adding earrings to my collection. The hoop earrings have been incredibly tricky. But never fear! I will continue to perfect them, as I am determined to bring you guys fun, weird, unconventional, and beautiful pieces that you can enjoy for a long time!

I was recently commissioned by the home improvement store, Lowe's of Gowanus #1674, Brooklyn, NY. They asked me to create one acrylic painting and one india ink drawing, which you can see by visiting my fan page on facebook. Just search for "The Art of Shayna Hawkins".

Hi everyone,

I believe I have finished making changes to this site (for now). Just so you know, I temporarily removed the stop-motion animation "Friendigamis". I am applying to a few art schools and my advisor from my old school told me it would be best to leave it out. It doesn't really have the same feel to it as my other work does.
